Thinking I might redesign this page a bit... or if not at least tidy it up and finish all of the sections - I don't know maybe I should wait until I have a bit more spare time before I even THINK about it - because I'll only end up doing half of it and then leaving it all messy and such.

What do YOU think? New blog or just tidy this one?

Work is busybusymad and things at the Theatre school have upped a couple of notches too so I am pushed for time but at least I work at a computer so I'm keeping up to date with diaries and emails at least SOME of the time.

Kittens are proper mini cats now they wander the entire house and all seem to have fallen madly in love with lovely Dave the ginger tom (though how could they not.. he's so SQUISHYANDCUTEANDSWEET) Do you know they're nearly 5 weeks old now?? It seems like only a week ago I watched them being SHOT into the world unceremoniously and aaaaaaaaawed and squueeeeeed and just generally were amazed by their tinyness. I'm so amazed at how completely individual they are already and I will sorely miss them when they're old enough to leave.

*sob sob*

Our house will be cleaner and smell better life will be quieter and easier but fostering tiny helpless fluffies is worth all kinds of disruption. Kittens personalities are said to be set mostly by the first few weeks of their lives and I hope that the OODLES of love we've poured into their tiny little lives have made a difference. Either way I KNOW it's better for them to be in the warmth and safety of our home than surrounded by sick cats in the cat shelter. (though it is a lovely cat shelter and we love them)

I know this is going to sound really silly but I really feel like by loving the kittens EXTRA hard that it will in turn make them EXTRA lovely towards their owners and then in that way I get to have made a difference in even more lives and caused more happiness ALL BY LOVE AND HUGS AND STROKES!!

HOW COOL IS THAT??

The shelter have got TONS more kittens in need of extra special care and of course we will continue to welcome and love any lost souls that end up at our home I don't think it will EVER be easy to say goodbye to them and know that potentially we'll never see them again. I just hope we loved them enough, held them enough and fed them enough that they grow into healthy big friendly cats who live wonderful happy lives.

Ellie and Jordan are going to give a home to Marvelous and to Runty (now named NINA [like Nina Simone]) and I could NOT be more pleased about that. I also know both Lisa and Becca want a kitten to keep their current felines company HOWEVER both Craig and Kevin would prefer not to risk the distruction of their homes!! We shall see we shall see... *winkwink*

I'm thinking about getting a plaque for our door that says

"Williams home for the lost and lonely"

(I don't just mean cats either - if you're ever in need of shelter, food, warmth... LOVE... my house is small but there is ALWAYS room)

I wish we could take in more lost teenies.. and also dogs and people - I wish I had a great big house and endless money and could just spend all of my time trying to love people better - because I know practicalities are often the cause of peoples problems but you'd be surprised what love can heal if you let it.

Anyway... I've done no work for the past hour :O so I should go and make myself useful and such!

I LOVE YOU ALL
